3 Steps to Reading Results

The new Fast ForWord is an evidence-based reading intervention that targets each child’s root causes of slow reading progress. Once these areas are addressed, parents report improvements not just in reading, but in self-esteem, confidence and in other academics as well.

How exactly does Fast ForWord make fast improvements?

We use a 3-part model, which includes the new Fast ForWord exercises and the new Reading Assistant!

Why Use Fast ForWord?

After using Fast ForWord, parents report their children can:

Pay attention longer. Children can complete homework with less help.

Follow multi-step directions. Can follow along if you ask them, "Pick up your shoes, grab your jacket, and meet me in the car."

Read better and understand more. This helps your child not only in reading, but can give your child the tools to succeed in all subjects at school.

PREPARE: Fast ForWord prepares the foundation for reading by finding and targeting hidden culprits for slow reading progress (Memory, Attention, Phonological processing speed – MAPs).

PRACTICE: Fast ForWord provides your child with personalized, intensive practice on a wide range of language and reading skills - more than any other approach or intervention. This intensive practice is the key to fast results.

REINFORCE: As your child reads aloud, the Reading Assistant program listens and provides corrective reading feedback. This real-world reading reinforces newly learned skills and rapidly builds fluency and comprehension.

Fast Change. Enduring Results.

See amazing results in 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week.

How It Works when working with a Fast ForWord Provider

With the help of a Fast ForWord Provider, your child can access Fast ForWord online, from the comfort of your home for a minimum of 30 minutes per day, 5 days per week.

They will help you by:

  • Starting your child at the level that’s just right for him or her

  • Offering a range of supportive services customized to meet you and your child's goals

  • Explaining the exercises – why are we doing certain activities? What are we working on?

  • Answering any questions you may have

  • Monitoring progress remotely

  • Reporting back on gains your child has made

  • Helping to come up with creative ways to motivate your child if they get stuck

“Your weekly calls and regular monitoring really made the program a great success for us. Not only did you provide motivation for [my daughter], but you provided us with helpful hints about how she could progress even further.”
